GA Telesis Engine Services (GATES) is a global jet engine MRO based at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport, Finland. We are now looking for a flexible, energetic, and self-motivated Customer Support Engineer to join our Customer Support team in our international and growing company.
In this role you will be the main point of contact for any technical issues during shop visits in collaboration with Customer Support Account Manager. You will work closely with internal stakeholders such as engineering, planning, inspection, and production teams to ensure high-quality customer experience.

Main responsibilities:
Communicate & advise customers on technical matters during & after engine shop visits
Prepare and analyze engine workscopes for engine bids and current customers
Lead Table Inspections together with Customer Support Account Manager
Act as an internal liaison between customer support and engineering, planning, inspection and production teams
Prepare training material & presentations for commercial team
Support technical evaluation for proposals including:
Evaluation of Service Bulletin’s (SB’s) and Airworthiness Directives (AD’s)
Evaluation of Configuration, borescope details, last shop visit data
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Jet Engine Power Plant Engineer or related role
Knowledge of Engine MRO business and CF6/CFM56 engines
B.Sc. or M. SC. in Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical engineering or equivalent qualification
Technical expert with a commercial and customer focused mindset
Ability to read, understand and interpret OEM Manuals
Previous knowledge of IFS system
Strong knowledge and use of Excel and MS Office
Ability to perform well under pressure
Strong risk analysis & decision-making ability
Fluent communication skills in English, Finnish is considered as an advantage
Flexibility in working hours
Excellent team working and organizing skills
Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences
Ability to travel for occasional customer visits & tradeshows
