Delivery Lead, Smart Grid/Energy sector

At Advian, we are looking for a hands-on Delivery Lead to own and drive our energy-sector project portfolio. This role is about building something new where your decisions and actions directly shape how the energy sector evolves in practice.

THE ROLE 

As a Delivery Lead, you are responsible for the energy-sector project portfolio, which includes both product development and customer delivery projects. The portfolio spans from Advian’s Smart Grid product development to customer implementations.  

You act as both a portfolio lead and a hands-on Project Manager/Product Owner, working at the intersection of business domains and technology and supporting sales and customer work across the portfolio. You’ll work closely with Advian’s Smart Grid products, helping shape how product roadmaps, releases and customer deliveries come together.

Your daily responsibilities include: 

• Leading and tracking projects and releases within the energy portfolio, including schedule, scope, and financial follow-up
• Planning resource allocation and working closely with the team on priorities, capacity, and project economics 
• Defining and coordinating the planning of new projects and releases 
• Leading and driving additional sales with experts 
• Managing your own projects and services end-to-end 
• Supporting project managers, domain experts, and sales in delivery, planning, and financial visibility

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We would fit each other perfectly if you have: 

• Strong project management skills, combining delivery ownership with coordination of complex technical dependencies 
• Experience working with agile methods 
• Background in systems and/or software implementations, with hands-on experience from delivery projects 
• Understanding of electricity networks and the energy sector 
• Financial thinking as a natural part of planning and decision-making 
• Strong collaboration skills and enjoyment in working with people across roles and teams 
• Ability to work on-site in Espoo, and willingness to travel occasionally on-site  
• Fluent Finnish and English (spoken and written)

It is considered a plus if you have:

• Experience in project portfolio management
• Previous background in R&D or product development
