DevOps Engineer

Do you enjoy building scalable DevOps solutions that support development teams and business needs?

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join Ponsse and play a key role in optimizing our software development and infrastructure automation.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design and implement CI/CD pipelines for multiple software applications and environments, automate key development tasks, maintain robust cloud infrastructure, and develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) also in on-premises environments.

You will be integral in ensuring that our systems are efficient, scalable, and secure, working with cutting-edge tools and technology.

What you will do

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for a variety of software applications and environments.

• Automate software development and deployment processes, including tasks like configuration management.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring systems to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Manage and enhance cloud infrastructure to support high availability and scalability.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to continuously improve our software infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain access management in cloud environments.

What we are looking for

• Experience working in a DevOps role.

• Expertise with Azure DevOps and Terraform.

• Proven ability to design scalable and efficient DevOps solutions.

• Understanding of modern cloud architecture and IaC development.

• Experience working with Kubernetes workloads.

• Experience managing role-based access control (RBAC) in Microsoft Entra ID.

As a person, you are proactive and take initiative. You are able to work independently and take ownership of solutions.

You have strong problem-solving skills and see solutions rather than problems. You have strong organizational skills in managing your own work and are able to prioritize tasks.

You will be part of Ponsse’s Digital Services & IT team, reporting to IT Infrastructure and Information Security Manager.

Your working location will be in Finland Kuopio, Tampere, Kajaani, Turku or Vieremä, but we work in a hybrid model. Some travel is required in this role.
