Electrical Engineer (Fixed term for 18-24 months)

At Eaton, we are committed to Lead, Invest and Execute for Growth.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Electrical Engineer will support ongoing and upcoming investment projects related to electrical and test systems. Due to the increased number and technical complexity of investments, additional electrical engineering resources are required to ensure projects are executed according to schedule, cost, and quality targets. \nThe role focuses on electrical system design, commissioning, validation, and hands\u2011on support during critical project phases. The position is temporary and directly linked to peak workload caused by investment projects.\n\nElectrical Engineering \u0026 Design\n\n * Electrical design for investment projects related to electrical and test systems\n * Development and review of electrical schematics, layouts, and system architectures\n * Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and internal guidelines\n\n\n\nCommissioning \u0026 Validation\n\n * Hands\u2011on participation in commissioning and validation of new electrical and test systems\n * Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during commissioning phases\n * Supporting smooth system start\u2011up and handover to operations\n\n\n\nProject \u0026 Technical Support\n\n * Providing technical support to project teams during installation and commissioning\n * Supporting project execution to minimize risks related to schedule, cost, and quality\n * Close collaboration with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors\n\n\n\nDocumentation - Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including:\n\n * Electrical drawings and specifications\n * Commissioning and validation documentation\n * Operating and maintenance instructions\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar\n * Experience in industrial electrical design\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Electrical engineering for industrial level of installations and systems, grid simulation and protection coordination\n * Fluency in English\n * At least upper intermediate level Finnish language skills\n\n\n\n## What we can offer to you:\n\n * Contract in fast growing global company\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n * Great promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible\n * Excellent working environment - safety and ethic are really important for us\n\n\n\n#LI-KK2\n\nWe are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
