[Finland] Specialist / Senior Specialist, Global Safety Vigilance

Our Safety Vigilance function is looking for a Safety Specialist to join the team in Helsinki or Tampere!

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Specialist to join our Global Safety Vigilance team. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety vigilance activities and supporting various projects and initiatives within the Safety Vigilance function globally, regionally and locally. This position may be considered for a Senior Specialist role if the selected candidate possesses the relevant experience and qualifications.

What you will do:

• Ensure compliance with safety vigilance activities, including conducting case reconciliation with concerned departments, affiliates, distributors, or business partners.
• Write, update, and review quality procedures to maintain high standards.
• Support Safety Vigilance projects and task forces on a local, regional, and global scale.
• Participate in the collection, processing, review, and distribution of adverse event information for development and marketed products.
• Support audits, inspections, and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
• Maintain tools for generating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

What you will bring to the role:

• A solid understanding of the safety vigilance and pharmacovigilance landscape within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective risk management.

• A few years of experience in a safety vigilance or pharmacovigilance role within the pharmaceutical industry would be considered a valuable advantage.
• Proficiency in safety database systems, a solid understanding of post-marketing safety requirements, and knowledge of device and drug safety regulations, along with medical terminology.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Life Sciences discipline required.
• Proven ability to work with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong collaboration skills and a continuous learning mindset and attitude.
