Head of Finance

We’re building a membership platform for the restaurant industry. Businesses get a simple way to connect with their customers and give them membership benefits & rewards. One of the main reasons why users love Cluby is that they don’t have to download several restaurant loyalty apps - instead they can use Cluby on all of their favorite restaurants, bars, cafes, and nightclubs. Our app is the most popular membership app in Finland and we are expanding to Europe in 2024.

We are looking for a Head of Finance to be a key player in our leadership team. You will be in charge of planning and leading our finance operations first in Finland and later on a global level. You will also organize daily finance operations, reporting financials to the CEO and the board, forecasting, developing KPIs for business management and hiring more people to the financial administration team. We are ready to hire the right person immediately when we find the right one.

This is a full-time role that is ideally based in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the daily financial administration of the Finnish entity and later all companies in the group
• Report financial status to the CEO and board
• Create forecasting based on actuals and update the actuals on a monthly level
• Develop KPIs with team members and provide financial insights for them
• Communicate with investors during and between financing rounds
• Plan and implement tax and legal related matters
• Hire more people to the administration team in the future

Essentials skills and expertise

• Proven experience in financial management, e.g. at an international SaaS-company or other subscription business
• Deep understanding of Finnish and international accounting, tax and legal matters
• Ability to lead a team, hire and develop team members skills in their daily activities
• Ability to plan on a strategic level and also implement them hands-on
• Master's degree in accounting or finance
• Independent self-starter with great communication skills
• Fluent spoken and written English skills
