I-Engineer to M/S Finbo Cargo

Are you a technically skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic work environment? We are currently looking for an I-Engineer to join our vessel M/S Finbo Cargo. We are offering a permanent position with access in July (or as agreed upon).

As I-Engineer, you will work under the guidance of the Chief Engineer and be responsible for ensuring that the ship's engines and associated equipment remain in optimal working condition. You will proactively identify and resolve technical issues and manage the inventory of spare parts and consumables within the budget.

Additionally, you will oversee the onboarding and training of new crew members, ensuring they are properly introduced to onboard routines. Throughout your work, you are expected to maintain high standards of safety and environmental awareness.

Who are you?

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable professional who brings both technical expertise and strong teamwork skills. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Relevant experience working as a marine engineer.






• A valid Second Engineer Certificate (STCW III/2). Holding a higher certificate is considered an advantage.






• A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to lead and support others.






• A strong commitment to safety, maintenance standards, and environmental awareness.

Additional Information:

M/S Finbo Cargo operates under the Finnish flag, sailing between Helsinki and Muuga. The position follows a 2:3 rotation schedule.

The official working and safety language onboard is English, while proficiency in Finnish and Swedish is considered an asset.
