Are you a technically skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic work environment? We are looking for a Second Engineer to join our vessel M/S Finlandia. We are offering one permanent contract with access in August or as agreed.

Who are you?

We’re seeking an engineer with:

-Relevant professional experience and qualifications

-Strong leadership qualities

-A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high safety and environmental standards onboard

As a Second Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s machinery and auxiliary systems, ensuring they meet all current safety and environmental requirements. A solid overall knowledge of the vessel’s technical systems is essential.

Minimum requirement for the position is a valid a Watchkeeping Engineer certificate (STCW III/1). Higher-level certificates of competence are considered an advantage.

Additional Information:

M/S Finlandia operates between Helsinki-Tallinn under Finnish flag. Work rotation follows a 2:3 schedule.

Our official work language and safety language onboard is English, language skills in Finnish and Swedish are meritorious.
