Interior Designer for luxury sailing yachts

We are seeking a skilled Interior Designer to join a renowned sailing yacht manufacturer in Pietarsaari, Finland. In this freelance position, you will lead the design and development of luxurious interiors, ensuring they meet both exceptional client standards and company expectations while collaborating with production and purchasing teams for cost-effective and functional solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop exclusive interior elements for sailing yachts.
• Collaborate with production to create reliable, cost-efficient designs.
• Provide technical specifications to support the purchasing department.
• Introduce innovative designs and materials following approval.
• Ensure designs exceed both Nautor’s and client expectations.
• Contribute to refining drawing process standards and reverse engineering from production feedback.
• Support sales efforts by providing materials and assisting with bills of materials.
• Review and verify design drawings from both internal and external teams.
• Offer technical expertise and practical support to Customer Care.

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong expertise in interior design, prioritizing both functionality and elegance.
• Experience with Siemens NX software is advantageous.
• Proven track record in high-end design and production environments.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
