Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control, Max Payne, Alan Wake and one of the leading independent game studios in the world is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team .

We are looking for a part-time Junior Accountant to join our Finance Team! Your day consists of versatile finance and accounting related tasks. Besides Business Administration / Economics related studies you are diligent, analytical and have a positive, can-do attitude and can see yourself working as a part of an international company. We enthusiastically welcome diverse viewpoints and backgrounds.

This is a great opportunity for someone currently studying or for recent graduates. We are looking someone to work part-time on an hour-based contract with 15 hours/week. There is a possibility for more hours during accounting closing times and around holiday seasons.

Our studio in Finland is based in Espoo, close to Niittykumpu metro station.

• Daily accounting processes
• Bank statement postings
• Reconciliations
• Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
• Various accounts payable and receivable tasks
• Participating in other tasks and projects addressed to the finance team

• At least 2 years of studies in Business Administration / Economics or equivalent or relative work experience
• Understanding the concept and terminology of accounting
• Capability to search and understand information from Finnish and Swedish officials’ sources
• Pedantic way of working and attention to details
• Ability to be proactive and to work independently
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook), especially Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
• Good communication skills in Finnish and moderate communication skills in Swedish
• Previous work experience from supporting accounting tasks is considered a plus
