Junior Product Manager / Product Manager

Veikkaus TECH department is looking for a Junior Product Manager to join our Product Design Management team. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow as a product professional while working with experienced professionals across product, design, technology, and business. Our team is responsible for the entire Veikkaus product portfolio. The

results of our work are in front of millions of users daily both in Finland and abroad.

Productization and product centric design are key objectives for our group. Our goal is

to create and maintain high-quality products that meet player and operator needs and

preferences both domestically and abroad. Our team works tightly with Veikkaus’

subsidiary Fennica Gaming to bring our games to international audiences.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Product Manager to join our agile product management team. As a part of larger multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for driving discovery and productization of specified product area(s) including its requirements, roadmap, feature prioritization and stakeholder management.

 

We expect you to have:

• Some experience in product discovery, management and development


• Skill to transform long term strategic targets to concrete executable actions and follow through the implementation until a successful outcome


• Business-orientation and customer-centric mindset both in internal company co-
  
  operation and when working with external contacts


• Strong communication and presentation skills. 


• Fluent written and spoken English skills.


• A proactive, can-do attitude!

Any of the following is considered an advantage:

• Expertise in product management of games; instant games / slot games / draw
  
  games


• Experience in working with a Game Studio


• Interest in game technologies and data driven game development


• Experience in the casino/betting/lottery industry


• Experience in international business and/or product development


• Experience of conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and insights to the product concepts


• Additional language skills

The position is located at Veikkaus’ headquarters in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki. To foster collaboration and effective teamwork, we meet at the office three times a week. The position is permanent and full-time.
