Logistics Coordinator

We are looking for a logistics coordinator to join our team in Rovaniemi for a temporary assignment of 24 months.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a truly international environment, expand your knowledge and gain valuable insights into international trade, powersports industry environment, and  challenging logistics and shipping processes. 

Your key responsibilities as logistics coordinator

• Coordinate & ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency in logistics operations
• Arrange and schedule transportations with the carriers with good follow-up
• Collaborate with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to facilitate communication
• Address and resolve any issues, shipping delays, damaged goods or any discrepancies promptly
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Assist in preparation & management of different documents and invoices
• Participate in warehouse stock count activities, administration and reporting
• Continuously look for opportunities to optimize the supply chain and streamline processes
• Assist colleagues and provide backup when needed

Your profile and skills

• Fluent in English, with a good knowledge of Finnish
• Bachelor’s degree or similar in Logistics or other relevant area
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using logistics software and tools.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Service minded and result oriented team player
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
• Knowledge of PowerBI is considered a plus
• Knowledge of SAP S4/ECC is considered a plus
