Job Description



We are on a mission of growing our New Vertical (Retail) business within the North region (Nordics, Baltics and Luxembourg) and we are now looking for a commercially driven marketer with an analytical mindset to join our team. As an NV and Partnership Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving New Verticals growth and managing relationships with retail partners in the Finnish market, reporting directly to the Head of Regional NV and Partnership Marketing. You will collaborate with the country’s commercial counterparts in order to develop partnerships with the enterprise accounts, key accounts as well as country retail merchant partners (SMB). 

Together with the colleagues from the other countries in the region you will be responsible for the regional growth of our New Verticals. You will have the opportunity to develop and manage regional-level campaigns (Pan-Baltic and Pan-Nordic) and collaborate with well-known international retail brands, contributing to the overall growth and success of our New Verticals in the region.

You will leverage your expertise in relationship building, for identifying mutually beneficial partnerships that aim both at acquiring as well as engaging with our partners to drive incremental sales and volume. You will develop annual co-marketing strategies on a regional level but also owning the development on a country level, to ensure these partnerships align with our broader marketing objectives. 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Be responsible for driving New Verticals (Retail) growth in the Finnish market.
  • You will work closely with our Country Management team, as well as our commercial organization, to meet country-specific and regional growth targets for retail and New Verticals
  • Owning retail partnership acquisition and engagement marketing activities, acting as the marketing counterpart for the commercial teams
  • Customize marketing pitches to new Retail merchants, including analyzing growth potential and proposing mutually beneficial marketing investments to unlock growth
  • Participate in C-level merchant meeting with sales/ Key Account Management teams and lead the marketing discussions
  • Owning and nurturing marketing relationships with the big enterprise and other merchants that drive mutual growth
  • Take ownership of other regional level campaigns (Pan-Baltic and Pan-Nordic) that drive New Vertical growth for the region
  • Developing annual co-marketing strategies on a regional level but also owning the development on a local level, aligning within the country Merchant team 
  • Execute integrated co-marketing campaigns from strategy and concept to briefing the planning and operations team and the brand team 
  • Manage day-to-day operations of partner marketing efforts, including promotions, emails, in-app
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials and promotional content tailored for retail partners
  • Oversee the vertical budget efficiency, and ensuring integrated partnership campaigns into holistic plans on a regional level

Qualifications

  • +5-8 years of experience from marketing, preferably within e-commerce and/or retail industry
  • Understanding on how sales targets can be translated into marketing plans aiming for the business growth
  • Self driven and comfortable of taking decisions within a fast phase environment 
  • Analytical mindset and a capability to make decisions based on data 
  • Both long-term and short-term planning and balancing between this will be part of your daily tasks 
  • Experience from marketing project management and from running projects with several different stakeholders, internal and external, is a must 
  • Experience from a international working environment and working with a team based in different countries is in your interest 
  • Open minded, positive can-do attitude
  • Great negotiation skills 
  • Category Management experience is a plus 
  • Working within the retail industry on our partner side is a merit
  • The role is based in Finland
