Mechanical Engineer

Aivan is looking for a

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

to join our product design team.

Aivan is a leading Nordic design and innovation studio. We help launch, grow, and evolve progressive businesses by integrating brand, design, and communication. Now we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer.

Are you a passionate Mechanical Engineer with a knack for innovation and design? In this dynamic role, you will play a crucial part in engineering solutions for a diverse range of products, from initial concept to final production.

As a member of our team, you’ll engage in engineering calculations, feasibility studies, and prototype development and maintaining project documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. A strong background in product development, material science, and CAD software, are essential to this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product designs.
• Engineer solutions for a multitude of products across various industries.
• Create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Perform engineering calculations, including FEM.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess design viability.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Build mockups and prototypes to validate design concepts.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in product development.
• Strong knowledge of material science and material selection.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Skilled in manufacturing drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
