o     Special requirements for Finland as requested by the customer.

i.    Physical Hardware and its Maintenance

ii.   Building the Physical Network

•     Setting up and configuring the physical network infrastructure.

•     Oulu has extensive use of “lab” network and needs further setup. For example, we have outlets labeled as “lab” but they are not wired.

iii.  Configuring Switches and WLAN

iv.   Firewall Configurations. Managing and configuring firewalls, especially with upcoming changes. We have a reason to believe changes are actively needed.

Immediate Needs

i.    VMware Hypervisors

•     We do not have access to the management interface of VMware hypervisors.

•     Unable to manage Windows server.

ii.   DNS Problems.

•     DNS issues need to be managed manually. We do not have the necessary permissions in R&D.

•     If we spawn new machines, they need to be manually assigned dns which is a slow process with an IT ticket
