OFCI Package Manager

We are seeking an experienced OFCI Package Manager to join our team on a large-scale data centre project in Helsinki Finland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of OFCI equipment packages, from procurement through to installation and commissioning. This includes coordinating with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure equipment is delivered on time, within budget, and in line with project specifications. The role will also involve overseeing logistics, monitoring quality, driving risk mitigation, and ensuring compliance with all safety and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the technical and process lead, serving as the primary interface with client-appointed vendors and escalating OFCI issues to the Client and relevant stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Manage the OFCI team to ensure works are engineered, planned, and installed in full compliance with project specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate closely with engineering, programme, and commissioning teams, liaising with key project stakeholders to support seamless delivery.
• Ensure all vendor-supplied equipment is fully aligned with construction requirements and integrated into the overall project programme.
• Lead regular meetings with the Client, OFCI vendors, and other key stakeholders to review progress and address challenges.
• Monitor and report on OFCI package progress, highlighting risks, issues, and required actions.
• Identify and escalate risks, supporting proactive mitigation strategies.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and technical expertise to mitigate contract disputes and ensure smooth project execution.
• Safeguard client confidentiality and security standards at all times.

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience working with an M&E contractor, ideally on mission-critical or large-scale projects.
• Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (or equivalent professional qualification).
• Proven track record of strong negotiation, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in engineering-related systems software and project management tools.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, large-scale projects from design through to commissioning.
