What We're Looking For? 

We are on the lookout for a PHP Backend Developer who thrives in developing high-performing, scalable, and future-ready backend services. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in PHP and an understanding of complex backend systems.

✅ Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using our custom PHP framework.
• Design and implement SQL database schemas and write efficient queries that power web applications.
• Build and manage microservices, understanding the intricacies of high-availability systems and ensuring robust, fault-tolerant services.
• Work with message queues, preferably Solace, to handle large volumes of data with low latency.
• Adapt and maintain applications within a Windows server environment, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve functionality, performance, and scalability of our applications.

Ideal Candidate

• Proficient in PHP, with experience in custom or popular PHP frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
• Experienced with microservice architectures and the principles of high availability.
• Familiar with message queuing technologies, especially Solace, or similar systems.
• Comfortable working in a Windows environment and familiar with its server management.
• Analytical thinker with good problem-solving capabilities and a detail-oriented approach to software development.
• Proficiency in English required, with fluency in Finnish and Swedish considered advantageous.
