Process Specialist

Evac is looking for a dedicated and experienced Process Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in developing technical solutions that help protect the environment through our customers' operations. You will manage research and technological development activities, ensuring sustainable operations and producing solid process solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and Development: Manage and conduct practical research and technological development projects.
• Technology Testing: Oversee and participate in technology testing activities.
• Subcontracting Management: Handle practical subcontracting tasks within technology projects.
• Innovation and Concept Development: Generate and conceptualize solutions based on scientific knowledge.
• Scientific Support: Produce scientific information to support Evac's customer solution portfolios.
• Knowledge Development: Develop a comprehensive understanding of Evac's inventions, concepts, products, and services.
• Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies on Evac's inventions and concepts.
• Information Management: Collect and manage data from customer ships, collaborating with other specialists to develop solutions.
• Reporting: Report research and development needs to the Head of R&D.

Required Competencies

• Experience: Proven experience in technology research and development projects and related project management.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge in experimental development through testing, with the ability to manage and process test data.
• Good Laboratory Practices: Understanding and experience of good laboratory work practices.
• Education: Master's or Doctorate in Environmental Technology or equivalent education.
• Industry Experience: Several years of experience in environmental process technology, particularly in waste or wastewater treatment industries.
• Project Management: Skilled in development project planning and management.
• Mindset: Proactive, solution-oriented, systematic, and structured approach to work.
• Communication Skills: Effective negotiation and communication skills.
• Travel: Willingness to travel.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
