Join Our Team as a Process Support Engineer!

We’re currently seeking two skilled Process Support Engineers to join our Life Cycle Services team in the Semiconductor Business Unit. In this global role, you’ll have the opportunity to support Beneq’s advanced semiconductor equipment by ensuring optimal process performance, equipment reliability, and customer success.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Process Support Engineer, your primary task is to provide technical expertise, process optimization, and troubleshooting support for our semiconductor equipment. You will work closely with Field Service Engineers, R&D, and customers worldwide to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement of deposition processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Qualification of processes at customer sites


• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for semiconductor manufacturing processes


• Analyzing process performance data and recommending optimizations to improve yield, efficiency, and uptime


• Supporting Field Service Engineers with complex process issues and root cause analysis


• Monitoring process stability and equipment reliability, implementing corrective actions when needed


• Delivering customer training programs on process optimization and troubleshooting


• Participating in the development, testing, and validation of new process technologies


• Creating and maintaining documentation, troubleshooting guides, and best practices


• Collaborating with internal teams to support service delivery and product enhancements

What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field


• 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or equipment troubleshooting


• Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor processes such as thin-film deposition, etching, lithography, or metrology


• Experience with data analysis tools, process control software, and statistical process control (SPC)


• Hands-on experience with process development, optimization, and root cause analysis (RCA)


• Familiarity with FMEA, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured approach


• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with a customer-focused mindset


• Willingness to travel over 50% of the working time, sometimes longer periods


• Language skills, English skills mandatory, Chinese skills strong advantage
