Procurement Manager

We are now looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team and contribute to our purpose of making sustainable impact through long-term partnerships.

About the role

As a Procurement Manager, you play a key role in ensuring a high-quality, cost-effective procurement process that supports our entire Group operations. You will be responsible for the planning and execution of both strategic and operational procurement, with a strong focus on investment projects. Your scope will cover all procurement categories.

In addition to managing procurement activities, your role will include:

• Key role in negotiations and operative purchasing
• Contract management, supplier management and collaboration
• Supporting the organization in procurement-related topics
• Developing our procurement processes, reporting and tools
• Close cooperation with internal stakeholders and external partners

The preferred location for this position is at our headquarters in Vantaa, Finland, but another Adven office in Finland can also be considered.

What we are looking for

We believe you’ll succeed in this role if you have:

• Proven, at least 5 years’ experience in industrial procurement; competence in investment project procurement is a plus
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and related legal aspects
• Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Experience using procurement systems
• Relevant degree in business or engineering
• Fluency in both Finnish and English (Swedish is an asset)
• Structured, proactive and safety-oriented working style
