Job Description

As a Product Lifecycle Engineer in our Lifecycle Management team, you will play a crucial role in managing the spare part information for power generation products. Your responsibilities will include master data management for products, act as a main contact in our customer interface and support internal teams with developing services towards customer. You’ll collaborate closely with our internal team and customers, including product managers and development managers, to define lifecycle strategies for products.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• To perform efficient spare parts assortment, parts Information, diagnostics and repair information to maximize power plant uptime, thereby creating competitive product advantage in the services business.
• Ability to understand product, sub-assembly and system dimensional layouts. Develop, document, and optimize spare parts solutions needed for technical repair.
• Perform internal technical reviews related to spare parts, maintenance, and standard times to assure coherence.
• Work with Product Data Management (PDM), Bill of Materials (BOM) and SAP. The product range we support is increasing due the fast digitalization, new alternative fuels, and power output solutions for our global customers.
• Analyse and resolve engineering deviations, suggestions and internal/external customer inquiries relative to service.
• To develop the way of working in own discipline according to the Quality Management System and way of working guidelines.
• Mentor, guide and help develop other team members.
• Take part in developing Cyient services.

Qualifications and skills required:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product lifecycle management, preferably with power generation products.
• Project management skills
• Spare Part knowledge
• Teamcenter knowledge
• PDM/PLM knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and team working abilities.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
