Project Lead

V7 Recruitment is supporting a leading data centre delivery specialist, providing full turnkey solutions from design through to construction and commissioning across Europe. The business is recognised as a trusted partner in delivering large-scale, mission-critical projects.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Director, the Project Lead will take full ownership of project delivery - ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership role requiring strong commercial awareness, technical expertise, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full lifecycle project delivery, including cost, schedule, and budget management
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution
Track and drive critical milestones to avoid delays and ensure timely completion
Review construction proposals, scopes, and pricing
Lead client and project coordination meetings
Monitor cost drivers and provide data-led insights and reporting
Manage procurement strategies and long-lead equipment schedules
Validate and audit subcontractor cost estimates
Requirements

Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role within construction or data centres
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Commercially astute with solid financial and cost control experience
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
Proficient in MS Office and project management tools
Able to perform under pressure while maintaining high safety and quality standards
