We are looking for a

Laboratory Technician, Medical Diagnostics

As a Laboratory Technician on our Medical Diagnostics team, you will support the design and development carbon nanotube-based biosensors as a member of the R&D team. You will have an important role in taking responsibility for our biosensor development laboratory and supporting scientists in the development projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the R&D team by participating to the planning, development and testing of biosensor-based assays and projects.


• Support other daily laboratory tasks and participate in R&D laboratory maintenance.


• Support planning, reporting and documentation.


• Operate according to the health and safety laboratory practices and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Laboratory Technician or comparable laboratory education.


• Prior knowledge of diagnostics and analytical methods, chemical safety and laboratory practices is essential.


•  Knowledge of electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical laboratory work and/or material characterization is preferable.


• Prior experience of industrial medical diagnostics is also considered an advantage.


• Good English written and verbal communication.


• Ability to learn fast and work systematically in a team-work oriented setting.
