Legal Trainee

We are now looking for a business-oriented Legal Trainee to support Matrix42’s international legal function in its various daily tasks and projects. As a Legal Trainee you will be responsible of: Assist drafting and commenting commercial agreements (e.g. NDAs, sales contracts, DPAs) Assisting in data protection matters Planning and implementing a contract management process Corporate governance tasks of an international software business Supporting in corporate development and M&A activities Assisting in any other current projects/tasks the team may have The position is part-time and for a fixed term until 31.12.2025. The role is based in Espoo, Finland, with a hybrid working option.

Must have: Law student past mid-point of your studies Business acumen and a keen interest in software business  Excellent skills in Finnish and English are needed to succeed in the role.  Nice to have: Skills in German considered a big plus Work experience from a law firm or legal department is a plus Some understanding and/or previous experience from data protection matters
