Job Description - Sales Manager - Commercial & Industrial / Buildings

Eaton has opened a modern, state-of-the-art campus in Vantaa, Finland, dedicated to its critical power systems business. The campus brings together all business functions under one roof, including RDE, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and service, and product marketing. Over the past two years, Eaton\u2019s world-class manufacturing site and Customer Experience Center in Vantaa have expanded significantly, welcoming 150 new employees\u2014and we\u2019re continuing to grow. At Eaton, we are committed to Lead, Invest and Execute for Growth. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Sales Manager is responsible for outside sales, in primary for selling and developing business in C\u0026I segment around power distribution from medium-voltage to low-voltage solutions in buildings.\n\n * Personally accountable for achieving the profit plan, margin and mix expectations\n * Provide accurate sales pipeline management \n * Embrace a data driven approach using metrics to evaluate \u0026 drive performance \n * Have a strong knowledge of product portfolio, applications and route to market/distribution channels. new markets, gaps and opportunities \n * Understand the major competitor\u2019s landscape, their tactics, organization, distribution, strategy and pricing \n * Personally establish strong business relationships with (key) customers and understand growth motivators within the customer base. \n * Build a network of internal relationships with business units, product management \u0026 segment teams across Eaton globally and to assist the development of marketing strategies and product portfolio evolution \n * Be a visible advocate of digital tools \u0026 cadence systems to drive sales efficiency/effectiveness \n * Deliver the sales transformation focusing on the changing buyer behavior journey embracing virtual selling and marketing led demand generation within Eaton\u2019s vision for sales \n * Ensure the highest level of ethical behavior and safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton\u2019s culture\n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * University degree in Electrical Engineering or similar\n * Solid Sales experience and expertise in a similar field \n \n\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Broad buildings electrical distribution system knowledge, and preferably segment expertise in C\u0026I-segment\n * SAP knowledge and experience\n * Fluency in English language, additionally native in Finnish language, Swedish being a plus.\n * Suitable background would from a consulting company or contractor would be useful\n * A team player, consultative \u0026 detailed, driven, resilient \u0026 can-do attitude\n * Positive and energetic.\n\n\n\n## What we can offer to you:\n\n * Contract in fast growing global company\n * Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team\n * Great promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible\n * Excellent working environment - safety and ethic are really important for us\n\n\n\n#LI-KK1 \n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
