A leading international data centre construction contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join a major project in Finland.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of project planning and controls across large-scale mission-critical construction, working with senior management, engineers, clients and subcontractors to drive programme performance and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop tender and bid programmes to support project submissions.
* Prepare, maintain and review detailed master construction programmes.
* Manage project planning and controls procedures.
* Coordinate schedules across pre-construction, construction and commissioning.
* Monitor progress against project milestones and identify programme risks.
* Prepare and present progress reports to senior management.
* Lead, mentor and support planning engineers.
* Work closely with project teams to resolve delays and planning issues.
* Represent the planning function at client and subcontractor meetings.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain accurate progress reporting.
* Support risk identification, mitigation and proactive problem-solving.
* Build strong relationships with existing clients and project stakeholders.
* Contribute to business development and future project opportunities.
* Support planning activities across multiple projects when required.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
* At least 3 years of relevant construction industry experience.
* Main contractor experience preferred.
* Strong experience in construction planning and project controls.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject.
* Experience with BIM and construction scheduling.
* Strong understanding of pre-construction, construction and commissioning programmes.
* Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Proactive, organised and comfortable working autonomously.
* Experience in data centres or other large-scale construction projects is advantageous.
