We are looking for Senior QA Test Lead. In this role, you will take ownership of testing practices for our Relays‑Online eCommerce platform, enabling end‑to‑end customer self‑service across product selection, configuration, pricing, quotation, ordering, SW delivery, and order tracking. You will define and drive test strategy, coordinate testing across teams and functions to ensure reliable, high‑quality releases. Additionally, you will establish the foundation for test automation and coach teams in Shift‑Left and Agile quality practices.

This role is contributing to the ABB Oy, Distribution Solutions division in Vaasa.

You will be responsible for

• Defining and developing test strategy, scope, quality criteria, test plans, and test specifications for the Relays Online platform.

• Planning and coordinating release testing across teams, tracking progress and risks, and managing defects in Azure DevOps.

• Participating in manual testing during critical release phases and supporting teams in executing test cases ensuring coverage and timelines.

• Driving Agile quality practices and test automation foundations, including Shift-Left coaching, CI/CD integration, and implementation of automated tests for critical end-to-end flows.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or M.Sc. degree in IT or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in QA testing and test leadership roles in software development environments.

• Strong experience in Agile Scrum and ability to guide teams in improving Agile testing practices.

• Test automation hands-on experience in web application testing, preferably with Robot Framework and browser library.

• Highly adept in Azure DevOps for defect tracking, test coordination, and release support.

• Team player with positive spirit, but who can also work independently.

• You can manage under pressure.

• Communicate fluently, both in Finnish and English.
