Software Test Lead (Enterprise Fusion)

We are looking for a Software Test Lead to join our Enterprise Fusion team. You’ll take ownership of test planning, strategy, and execution for one of Tuxera’s flagship products. You will drive test automation and quality improvements while mentoring and guiding a team of test engineers.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead the software testing efforts for Tuxera’s Enterprise products like Tuxera Fusion SMB.
• Define and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and metrics to ensure product quality across releases.
• Oversee development of automated and manual test cases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and support teams to identify test requirements and define coverage.
• Ensure test infrastructure reliability and continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior testers and help grow our test engineering practices.

Background and Qualifications:

You are an experienced and hands-on test professional who combines leadership with active development, coding and implementation of test automation frameworks and solutions. You are comfortable building test systems and planning in-depth scenarios to catch tricky edge cases.

You should have:

• Solid experience in software testing and test automation (7+ years, with at least 2 in a lead role).
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Proven background with Linux-based systems and networking protocols (ideally SMB/CIFS or related technologies).
• Experience setting up or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with virtualization platforms
• Familiarity with file systems and I/O performance testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with protocol compliance testing or industry-standard test suites.
• Strong organization skills, balancing and adapting to multiple project priorities.

📍 Our team operates in hybrid mode, but we encourage regular in-person presence at our Espoo office to foster collaboration and support.
