We are Hiring: Sourcing Manager

Are you a strategic procurement professional with a passion for global sourcing and supplier development? We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Espoo, with responsibility for the mechanical category. In this role, you’ll report to the Head of Supply Chain and play a key part in developing sourcing strategies, negotiating with global suppliers, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

What you will do
As our Sourcing Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement sourcing and category strategies for the mechanical category to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance

• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, and contract negotiations

• Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives

• Utilize SAP extensively in daily operations, including handling purchase orders, maintaining supplier information, tracking deliveries, and contributing to data-driven analysis

• Improve procurement processes through digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging SAP and other procurement tools

• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Finance teams to ensure sourcing strategies meet business needs

• Be willing and capable to also handle operational tasks when required – such as processing purchase orders or tracking deliveries in SAP – to secure smooth supply chain operations

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone with:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related technical field

• 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement within a demanding industry such as semiconductors, medical equipment, automation, or a comparable field.

• Strong background in global sourcing and supplier negotiations

• Hands-on expertise with SAP (or equivalent ERP), with proven ability to use it as a daily working tool for procurement and supplier management

• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder collaboration skills

• A proactive, results-oriented mindset with the flexibility to balance strategic focus and hands-on operational execution when needed

• Willingness to travel occasionally
