Do you have a passion for simplifying the technical landscape, want to help us reshape the Mobility Insurance Industry, and understand the benefits of standard system implementations? About the team

You will be joining ‘Mobility and Classic SE Solutions’ one of the engineering units in If. Our unit is developing and operating core insurance systems for the private sector primarily in Sweden. We have just embarked on a major journey of renewing our core system landscape by implementing a standard SAAS insurance platform named Guidewire. This work has been created and executed as a program named CTP (Core Transformation Program) and the first assignment for the Technical Product Owner is to act as the Product Owner for the integration components between Guidewire and If’s infrastructure named the ‘Spectre API’.

The overall purpose of the ‘Spectre API’-squad is to implement the integration layer needed as we transition parts of If’s business portfolio to Guidewire.

More specifically: the ‘Spectre API’-squad create, implement, maintain, and support the Azure components that realize the integration layer between Guidewire and the various If systems/services that Guidewire integrate with. The API Squad supports the Guidewire Squads with working integration artefacts required to drive the implementation and delivery work forward.

About The Role

In your role as Technical Product Owner in the ‘Mobility and Classic SE Solutions’-unit you will be assigned to work in different delivery contexts. The first assignment will be in the Spectre API Squad within the larger Core Transformation Program.

In your role as the technical product owner of the Spectre API (our integration platform), you will be prioritizing the squad backlog and you will have a tight relation to CTP Product Managers to align your team’s contributions to the needs of our program as well as the Product Owners of our Guidewire Squads.

You also strive to connect the work to the “bigger picture” and how it relates to people, processes, and systems - who are we developing for and how, where are we heading and how to get there?

In this role you work tightly together with your team that consist of several developers, a Scrum Master, a Lead Software Architect and potentially more roles. You will also interact closely with Business Analysts in our Preparation Team and various Subject Matter Experts around the integrations in focus as well as both business focused and tech focused counterparts of the various systems we will integrate to.
