The Role: How you'll make an impact at Buddy Healthcare

At Buddy Healthcare, we help hospitals, clinics, and patients by simplifying care pathways through digital tools. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and quality of our healthcare platform, which serves both professionals via a web dashboard and patients through mobile apps. Your work will directly impact patient safety and the efficiency of healthcare professionals.

This is a fixed-term role covering maternity leave, but your contribution will be critical to maintaining and evolving our test automation coverage, ensuring our product continues to meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and compliance.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for our web and mobile applications.
Work closely with developers and product owner to define test strategies early in the development process.
Write and execute automated tests for APIs and UI flows.
Ensure tests run as part of our CI/CD pipelines and provide quick feedback to the team.
Investigate, reproduce, and log defects in collaboration with developers.
Keep our test automation framework up to date and aligned with best practices.
Support manual testing when necessary, especially for new features or complex scenarios.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

Experience in automated testing for web and/or mobile applications.
Skills in test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Playwright, or similar.
Experience in API testing
Familiarity with mobile app testing (native iOS/Android) is a plus.
Understanding of Agile development practices.
Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and a strong focus on quality.
Good communication skills in English.
