Joulupukin tonttuna tärkein tehtäväsi on varmistaa, että jokainen vieras lähtee luotamme hymy huulilla ja sydän täynnä joulun taikaa. Etsimme iloisia ja energisiä henkilöitä, jotka nauttivat tarinoiden kertomisesta, esiintymisestä ja ihmisten viihdyttämisestä.

Tässä työssä tärkeimpiä ominaisuuksiasi ovat aito empatia ja rakkaus lapsia kohtaan, sillä he ovat pääyleisösi, ja sinun vastuullasi on tarjota heille ikimuistoisia elämyksiä.

Kun Joulupukkiin liittyviä aktiviteetteja ei ole aikataulussa, tontut voivat täydentää tuntejaan esimerkiksi oppaana, asiakaspalvelijana tai muissa tehtävissä.

Tämä työ edellyttää iloista asennetta, hyviä viestintätaitoja ja kykyä toimia paineen alla. Tonttujen tulee olla valmiita työskentelemään ulkona lumisissa olosuhteissa ja pukeutumaan tonttupukuun (jonka me tarjoamme) koko työvuoron ajan.

Päätehtävät:

• Asiakkaiden tervehtiminen sekä viihdyttäminen
• Asiakkaiden auttaminen ja heidän kysymyksiin vastaamminen asiantuntevasti ja ystävällisesti
• Maagisien elämyksien luominen tarinoilla, improvisaatiolla ja esiintymisellä
• Asiakkaiden turvallisuudesta huolehtiminen
• Yrityksen sääntöjen ja toimintaperiaatteiden noudattaminen
• Muissa työtehtävissä avustaminen tarvittaessa

Mitä odotamme sinulta?

• Kokemusta asiakaspalvelu-, viihde- tai matkailualalta
• Hyvät improvisaatio-, näyttelijä- ja tarinankerrontataidot
• Sujuva englannin kielen taito (suullinen ja kirjallinen)
• Voimassa oleva B-ajokortti
• Ensiapukurssi suoritettuna
• Kyky työskennellä itsenäisesti ja tiimissä
• Aito innostus jouluun ja elämykselliseen asiakaspalveluun
• Hyvät viestintätaidot ja esiintymisvarmuus yleisön edessä
• Valmius työskennellä ulkona talviolosuhteissa pitkiä aikoja
• Joustavuus työskennellä sesonkiaikana, mukaan lukien viikonloput ja pyhäpäivät

Työn kesto, palkka ja edut:

• Työ alkaa marraskuussa Työ päättyy tammikuu/helmikuu/maaliskuu
• Min 90h/3vko
• Palkka sovitaan haastattelussa kokemuksen ja osaamisen perusteella
• Muut edut työehtosopimuksen mukaan
• Tarvittaessa tarjoamme majoituksen jaetussa huoneessa hintaan 250 €/kk

Experience the magic of the holiday season in a whole new way by joining our Winter Wonderland team as Santa’s Elf! Located in the heart of picturesque Lapland, our resort offers visitors from around the globe a unique glimpse into the world of Father Christmas. With our dedicated team of elves, Santa and reindeer herders, we create unforgettable holiday experiences for families and children of all ages. As a member of our elf team, you'll be an integral part of spreading joy and festive cheer.

About the Role

As Santa’s Elf, your role is to ensure every guest leaves with a happy heart and cherished memories.
We are seeking joyful individuals to be Santa’s helpers in creating the enchantment of Christmas. To excel in this role, you should be a flexible, outgoing, and social individual who delights in telling stories and entertaining. Your most important qualities should include empathy and a genuine love for children, as they will be your primary audience, and you’ll be responsible for providing them with memorable experiences.

In addition to your duties as Santa’s Elf, during times when Santa-related activities are not scheduled, you can supplement your hours by assisting as a supporting guide, a guest service attendant, or in any other relevant department.

This position requires a high level of enthusiasm, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Elves must be prepared to work outdoors in snowy conditions and wear elf attire (provided by us) throughout their shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet, entertain and interact with guests throughout the resort
• Assist with guest inquiries, providing excellent customer service
• Impeccable performance for every experience
• Ensuring the safety of our guests at all times
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality, entertainment, or customer service role
• Skilled in Improvisation, acting and storytelling
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Valid B drivers’ license
• First Aid course certificate
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Enthusiasm for the Christmas season and creating memorable experiences
• Strong communication skills, comfortable performing in front of an audience
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time in winter conditions
• Availability to work shifts during the holiday season, including weekends and public holidays

Desirable Qualities

• Previous role as a performer or entertainer
• Ability to speak multiple languages

Duration and Benefits

• Starts: November Ends: January/February/March
• Minimum 90 working hours per 3 weeks period
• Hourly pay negotiated in an interview, according to knowledge and experience
• Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement
• If necessary, the resort provides accommodation in a shared room for €250,00/month
