Vice President, IT Service Management
The Vice President leads IT Service Management unit and is responsible for overseeing the operational management, strategy, and execution of IT production services to ensure high availability, performance, and security of DNA business applications and systems.
Responsibilities and key deliverables of VP, IT Service Management include:
- Develop and implement IT production strategies and practices according to industry standards. Ensure alignment with DNA business objectives and Telenor strategies and tooling.
- Ensure smooth operation of IT production according to business and customer SLAs for all DNA IT services, including efficient collaboration and management of external partners.
- Lead and mentor the IT Service Management team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Engage with business and ensure close collaboration with key business stakeholders in defining SLAs and other targets for services.
- Oversee the IT Service Management budget to ensure cost-effective operations according to set targets and to support financial/investment planning.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT service production ensuring compliance with business targets, industry standards and regulations.
- Evaluate new approaches, methods and technologies to continuously improve DNA IT service production landscape.
- Manage IT Service Production unit budget and financials effectively in collaboration with Finance unit.
- Ensure talent management and competence development according to IT Service Management workforce plan in collaboration with HR unit
VP, IT Service Management is in highly business critical role in overseeing the operation and management of all DNA IT services, both internal and customer facing services. She/he acts in close collaboration with all business units and functions in DNA, and with the Telenor Nordic organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in IT leadership and management roles, including change management and leadership
- Proficient in IT service management and production support tools.
- Proven experience in IT production or operations management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, system administration, and cloud technologies.
- Understanding and experience in SW development and DevSecOps
- Experience in managing large-scale IT projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in working in international settings and multi-national culture.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
