Gofore’s cybersecurity business has grown significantly, and we are looking for Capability Owner to own and develop our cybersecurity service offering.

As a Capability Owner, your primary responsibility will be to support the sales of our cybersecurity services and to ensure alignment of our service offering with market development and customer needs. Additionally, you may initiate customer projects as necessary, working alongside our consultants and representatives from the client’s business. In addition to our cybersecurity team, you will actively collaborate with various experts in sales, marketing, and other business functions at Gofore.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell

• Conceptualization and development of new cybersecurity services and solutions
• Updating service offering including service descriptions, pricing models, service architecture, publications, and customer references.
• Sales and sales support. You will support our sales team in customer discussions to understand their needs and define solution proposals, as well as develop services tailored to those needs.
• Increasing internal awareness and understanding of capabilities and services to be developed at Gofore
• Developing and coordinating the capabilities of Gofore’s cybersecurity experts according to customer and market needs
• Initiating new projects
• Participation in industry networks

What we expect from you

We are looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional with broad experience and insight into the development and productization of cybersecurity services as well as customer and market needs.

In addition, you’ll need the following skills and qualities:

• Enthusiasm and proactive approach to developing and expanding our cyber business and services. You are action-oriented and strive to achieve results.
• Experience in building cybersecurity solutions for clients. You have a broad understanding of various aspects of cybersecurity, although your background may be more technical or administrative.
• Strong interest in sales and presales tasks
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility, goal-oriented and independent working manner.
• Experience in industrial cybersecurity is seen as an advantage.

We have work flexibility; you can e.g. work from home or in our office. Due to the nature of the role, occasional readiness to travel to customers in Finland is expected. Additionally, occasional business trips to Europe may be required a few times a year.

Please note that due to job responsibilities, we require our applicants to be EU citizens and fluent in both Finnish and English. The chosen applicant may also be required to undergo security clearance as required by the client.
