To strengthen our Finance team in Helsinki we are looking for a proactive and precise Financial Controller for a full-time and permanent position. Financial Controller plays crucial role in ensuring accounting, tax and reporting is processed smoothly.

Main responsibilities:

• Monthly management reporting according to IFRS and providing support to local management in preparing the monthly deviation comments
• Monthly validation of booking entries and reconciliation
• Follow up of local tax and accounting legislation and ensuring compliance at all times
• Coordination of corporate legal books updates with external consultant
• Ensure efficiency and appropriate control over financial, accounting and admin related operations
• Preparation of annual budget/quarterly forecasts in close cooperation with Country Manager and Refund Manager
• Continued innovation to develop the tools that will achieve best practice in all operation and other admin related activities with the aim to increase efficiency and costs saving

Ideally who would have:

• Accounting/Finance degree and minimum of three years’ experience in accounting/audit
• Strong excel skills
• A strong emphasis on accuracy and quality of work
• Highly organized and pro-active approach to problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
• Experience of working in an international environment
• Excellent spoken and written English
