Manager, Food Legislation and Product Information

As a Manager, Food Legislation and Product Information and a member of Fazer Confectionary R&D Team your main responsibilities are to:

• Be responsible for developing and driving the food legislation compliance implementation and follow up
• Own and develop the Product Compliance Process in Fazer Confectionery and manage product compliance checks for exported products
• Monitor proactively the future food legislation and trends in EU and relevant export markets, represent Fazer Confectionery in external forums and industry organizations and develop the methods and partnerships in Fazer for that area
• Support and consult internal functions regarding packaging labelling and nutritional and marketing claims
• Provide training to the R&D team and other departments on regulatory requirements and best practices

Your position will be located in Vantaa. The position is permanent.

What you'll bring to the team

You have proven track record and solid experience of roles within food legislation and product information. With your solid practical competence and knowledge of food legislation, you know how to apply it in different situations and changing business environment. You follow the food legislation and international regulation development and issues actively. We expect you to have experience of food and beverage industry. You have structured and detailed way of working, you are development oriented, proactive and analytical.

In order to succeed, you also need good communication and influencing capabilities to successfully cooperate with different internal and external partners. You communicate fluently in Finnish and English, Swedish is beneficial. We value hands-on attitude, enthusiasm, team work and solution-based mindset. You hold a Master’s degree in Food Science or Engineering or similar. You are proficient user of different IT tools.
