In Reward in Group People, we are looking for a Reward Partner for the Reward Business Partnering team. This is an opportunity for you to join a dynamic, highly skilled and specialist team in Reward, and to work with the full breadth of the Reward agenda including with executives and senior leaders.

We invite you to contribute to our journey of shaping and implementing Reward strategy where our work supports the attraction, retention, and motivation of high performing employees. We manage everything from individual salary setting, annual round activities, variable pay programmes, to supporting our performance dialogues.

The world is changing fast – and we want to create a league of our own in Nordea. That’s why we’re deeply committed to providing the financial solutions of tomorrow to our customers. We’re creating an agile environment where we experiment and grow together – and we need your ideas and unique background. With us, you’ll be in good company with a chance to make your mark on something bigger.

About this opportunity

As the Reward Partner, you will drive and be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementation of reward strategy, processes and initiatives in selected Business Areas, Group Functions or Countries
  • Supporting the annual pay cycle in your area(s), including implementation and budget governance
  • Strategic partnering and advising Heads of People and senior leaders in all reward related matters, including individual case handling
  • Leading and be a sparring partner for your area’s People team including Head of People, People Business Partners and other People professionals
  • Ensuring that your area(s) comply with our pay principles and reward policies
  • Collecting business input and feedback, being the linchpin between your areas’ needs and Reward offerings
  • Contributing to the development of new concepts and initiatives in the reward area

With your expertise and knowledge you will have a real opportunity to drive continuous improvement and impact of our Reward offerings for Nordea’s senior leaders, and support to the business.

You will join a team with inspiring colleagues, where constant development is the main driver. The role is based in Stockholm or in Helsinki.

Who you are

Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the four key values that guide us in being at our best. We imagine that you enjoy learning and are excited about bringing your ideas to the table. You’re dependable, willing to speak up – even when it’s difficult – and committed to drive the Reward agenda in strong collaboration with your colleagues in Reward and our stakeholders.

You have a relevant educational background (Master’s degree) and professional experience, preferably at least five years from an international/Nordic working environment. If you have a consultancy background that is preferred, ideally with some experience within the field of finance, analytics, HR or from a partner role.

Your profile and background:

  • Good understanding and experience on the financial sector regulatory framework on remuneration
  • Good understanding and experience of total reward products and processes
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and communication skills
  • “Band width” and ability to handle a dynamic environment with many stakeholders
  • Job levelling knowledge with Mercer IPE grading is an advantage
  • Strong numerical and analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communicator - able to make the complex simple in writing or through visuals
  • Strong team player mentality
  • Ambitious and a determination to drive change and improvements
  • Curiosity to continuously learn and develop
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Swedish or Finnish as well as English

We’re creating an agile environment where we experiment and grow together – and we need your ideas and unique background. With us, you’ll be in good company with a chance to make your mark on something bigger.
