Senior Consultant - Global Market Access | HEOR | Epidemiology
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Epidemiologist to join our dynamic team. The Senior Epidemiologist will play a key role in designing, conducting, and analyzing epidemiological studies to generate insights that inform healthcare policy, intervention strategies, and disease prevention initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and collaborate with a diverse team of experts in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, and healthcare analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead epidemiological research projects from conception to completion, including study design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Utilize advanced statistical methods to analyze large-scale healthcare datasets, epidemiological surveys, and clinical trial data.
- Conduct literature reviews and critically evaluate existing research to inform study design and methodology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop evidence-based recommendations for public health interventions, policy development, and healthcare delivery improvement.
- Provide expert consultation on epidemiological study design, data analysis, and interpretation to internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging trends, methodologies, and technologies in epidemiology and public health research.
- Mentor junior epidemiologists and provide guidance on research methodology, data analysis techniques, and professional development.
- Contribute to scientific publications, conference presentations, and grant proposals to disseminate research findings and enhance the company's reputation as a leader in epidemiological research.
Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in epidemiological research, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R, SAS, or STATA, and experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings effectively.
- Experience leading research projects and managing teams of researchers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated track record of peer-reviewed publications in epidemiology or related fields.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems, disease surveillance methodologies, and public health interventions is desirable.
