As a Solution Owner, Data Warehouse & Analytics you will take charge of our data warehouse and business intelligence platforms, critical for reliable reporting. In this independent role, you'll be driving the development of scalable data pipelines, optimizing data models, and ensuring efficient data processing. Your responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of data warehousing and analytics solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure & PowerBI tools to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into actionable insights, delivering user-friendly datasets, reports, and dashboards that empower decision-makers
• Take charge of managing our backlog of improvements and new feature requests, serving as the go-to person for troubleshooting BI-related issues
• Conduct engaging user training sessions to boost the utilization rate of our analytics tools, ensuring everyone is equipped to utilize the full potential of our resources

Here are some practical things we’d love to see in your back pocket:

• Experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehousing/data platform solutions using Microsoft Azure tools, along with a solid understanding of SQL and ETL processes
• Bonus points if you've worked with PowerBI before!
• Understanding the ins and outs of Data Vault modeling is a big plus
• Good analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines
• We appreciate proactive, passionate self-starters with excellent self-management skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting, finance, and manufacturing processes help you to understand better and apply analytics solutions 
• We'd love it if you have a Master’s degree in information technology, industrial engineering, or a related field, but it's not a deal-breaker
• Strong spoken and written skills in English (a must) and Finnish (nice to have)

You don't yet have to be an expert in everything above but we expect that you are capable of becoming one. If you're ready to make a significant impact and push the boundaries of what's possible with data, we want to hear from you!

You can work where you feel most at ease, thus, you can choose whether to work in our office in Tampere, at home, or anywhere else in Finland, but we hope you can also come to the office in Tampere every two weeks.  Are you ready for the challenge?
