Are you studying Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field at a University of Applied Sciences and looking to gain hands-on experience in workplace safety? Beneq is looking for a Health & Safety Intern to join our team in Espoo.

This internship offers a practical introduction to Health & Safety (H&S) processes, systems, and continuous improvement in an international B2B technology environment. You will work closely with our Health & Safety Manager and collaborate with different teams across the organization. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning by doing, has an eye for detail, and is motivated to improve systems and ways of working.

As a Health & Safety Intern, you’ll support the development, maintenance, and improvement of our H&S procedures, processes, and tools. Your tasks may include:

• Supporting the development and maintenance of Health & Safety procedures and processes

• Assisting in the use and development of the H&S platform (e.g. data updates, user support, documentation)

• Supporting risk assessments, safety documentation, and process descriptions

• Assisting with incident reporting and follow-up documentation

• Helping track H&S actions, measures, and compliance-related tasks

• Supporting internal H&S communication and awareness initiatives

• Assisting in preparing training materials, presentations, and guidelines

• Supporting small H&S-related projects from planning to implementation

You might be the one we’re looking for if you are:

• A student in Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field

• Required to complete an internship as part of your studies

• Interested in workplace safety, risk management, and continuous improvement

• Comfortable taking initiative and working independently, while collaborating with others

• Detail-oriented and systematic, with an interest in processes and documentation

• Confident in using digital tools (Excel/Sheets skills are a plus)

• Able to communicate clearly in English (Finnish is a plus but not required)

Most importantly, you have a proactive, positive attitude and a genuine interest in learning and improving Health & Safety practices.

• A paid internship of 6 months with meaningful Health & Safety responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in H&S work within an international technology company

• Support and mentoring from an experienced Health & Safety Manager
