Intern, Technology Cooperation

Huawei Finland Research Center is seeking a Technology Cooperation intern to join our team to support the local cooperation team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the technology cooperation team in scouting emerging technologies, research labs, startups, and academic institutions across key innovation domains.
• Collect, evaluate, and organize information on potential cooperation partners including universities, research institutes, and companies in selected technology areas.
• Assist in generating insight reports on selected technology domains by analyzing industry trends, innovation trajectories, and potential application areas.
• Help prepare the technology cooperation report with updates on scouting activity and technology insights.
• Assist in arranging department meetings, workshops, and training sessions relevant to technology cooperation activities.
• Prepare for NDAs and R&D agreements with external partners.

Our Requirements:

• Recent Master's graduate or PhD student in engineering, science, innovation management, project management, or related fields from a Finnish university.
• Demonstrated interest in deep tech, emerging ICT technologies, or international R&D ecosystems.
• Excellent research and analytical skills; ability to synthesize complex technical information.
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and openness to working in an international, cross-cultural environment including Chinese business culture.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Fluency in Finnish and English (written and spoken); Chinese is a plus but not required.
• Self-motivated with an independent and well-organized working style.
• Quick learner with a service-oriented, adaptable, and hands-on attitude.
• Strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage professionally with internal stakeholders and external cooperation partners.

Location: This position is located at our R&D office in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, Finland.

Employment type: Full-time intern position, internship period is between 3-6 months.
