Do you want to build a strong foundation in controlling and finance while working in a modern FMCG company that combines e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail?
Fiksu Ruoka Oy is looking for a Part-time Junior Controller to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for a student in the later stages of their studies who wants to gain hands-on experience in finance, analytics, and business operations — with the goal of transitioning into a full-time role after approximately 12 months.
At Fiksu Ruoka, we sell food and everyday consumer goods through our omnichannel model and work every day to reduce food waste. Finance plays a key role in enabling data-driven decisions across the business — from sales and inventory to operations and growth.
What you'll be doing?
As a Junior Controller, you’ll support the Finance team in day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analysis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting monthly closings and core financial processes.
- Monitoring and reconciling sales and inventory data across different sales channels.
- Developing and maintaining weekly and monthly financial reporting.
- Supporting ad hoc analyses for management and other key stakeholders.
- Documenting finance processes, maintaining controls, and helping improve ways of working.
- Contributing to automation and analytics development where relevant.
- Collaborating closely with other teams across the company on finance-related topics.
The role is flexible and evolving — responsibilities can be adjusted based on your skills, interests, and development over time.
