Summer jobs at Metsä Group – Logistics Coordinator, Rauma

What kind of summer job awaits you?

In this role, as Logistics Coordinator in Rauma, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating land transportation for designated pulp mills and sawmills. Your tasks will include managing purchase invoices, processing transportation orders, and handling related documentation. You will work closely with sawmill and pulp delivery planning teams, as well as collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Your responsibilities will be diverse, ranging from routine tasks performed independently to more advanced assignments, depending on your experience and your willingness to develop new competencies.

What are we expecting of you?

We are looking for someone who is reliable, flexible, proactive, and a strong team player. You should be able to work independently and demonstrate a genuine willingness to learn and develop on the job.

The role requires:

• Good ICT skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Finnish; proficiency in other languages is considered an advantage.
• A positive attitude, strong customer service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills.

These Supply Chain summer jobs are ideal for polytechnic or university students studying economics, industrial engineering and management, logistics, or a similar field.

The summer job starts in May and ends in August.
