Summer Jobs at Metsä Group - Maritime Logistics

What kind of summer job awaits you?

As logistics coordinator in Metsä Group’s maritime logistics service center (MLSC) in Espoo, you will perform short-term logistics planning (sales order and capacity balancing). Daily operations like processing maritime transport requests, making bookings and delivery follow-ups are part of your tasks. In addition, you perform logistics invoice checks, manage logistics supplier quality deviations and maintain logistics master data in various systems. You are in the key role to solve daily issues and to ensure high service level and quality of our deliveries. You participate actively in the cooperation with port operators and shipping lines.

The role is an excellent opportunity to learn international maritime logistics and export shipping e.g. from Finland. Metsä Group MLSC team warmly welcomes all new team members and values good introduction to work.

What are we expecting of you?

You have / You are undertaking relevant education e.g. bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business or technology. We value your customer service and teamwork attitude as well as process orientation. You have ability to work under pressure and balance between multiple priorities. You have good written and spoken English skills, knowledge of any other Metsä Group local languages is an asset. Background experience in logistics or supply chain roles is an asset. Your experience in ERP and transportation management systems is regarded as an advantage.

In order to get well introduced to new role, we are expecting a starting date latest in May and the employment will last until the end of August.
