Research Intern - Wearable biosensor study

The W earables team of the  Device Concept Lab is looking for an intern to join us to participate in a technology proof of concept study. Under the guidance research intern will be able to independently plan, perform, and report an in-vivo study of novel biosensing techniques. The target of internship is to research the opportunity to implement the new feature and novel biosensor in future commercial wearable devices. 

Main Tasks:

• Literature review to summarize the state of art in particular biosensing area and investigation research on biosensing.
• The design and implementation of the health signal data collection
• Data analysis, visualization, and reporting

Requirements:

• Master or PhD student with fundamental proficiency in biosensing, health technologies, and human physiology.
• Experience in biosignal data collection with human subjects, data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
• Ability to work systematically and produce a comprehensive report of the results within the given time frame.
• Experience in some of the programming languages: Matlab, C/C++, Python.
• Fluent in written and spoken English

It's a plus if you have:

Track record in publishing at prestigious medical conferences.

Starting time: May 2024

Internship period: 3-6 months
