Accounts Payable - Remote Work

Job Description:

Varjo is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our team on a part-time basis. This position will allow for remote work, providing flexibility and work-life balance for the right candidate. As an Associate level role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities: - Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for payment - Reconcile accounts and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports - Assist with month-end close activities and audits - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payments - Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable

Requirements: - Proven experience in accounts payable or a related field - Energetic and resilient personality traits - Strong research and communication skills - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Excellent attention to detail and time management skills - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
