Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a part-time Accountant to join our team at Aiven. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This position is located in Vantaa, Uusimaa, Finland.

Responsibilities: - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Prepare financial statements and reports - Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information - Ensure compliance with local financial regulations - Assist in budgeting and forecasting - Perform month-end and year-end close processes - Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial issues - Assist with audits and tax preparation - Contribute to financial planning and analysis

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Independent and driven personality traits - Strong research and decision-making skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
