Accountant

Job Description:

Elisa Corporation is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team in Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland. As an Associate Level Accountant with at least 3 years of experience, you will play a key role in the financial management of the company. We are looking for a resourceful and energetic individual with strong leadership and cooperation skills.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements - Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance requirements - Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making - Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department - Maintain confidentiality of financial information at all times

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA or equivalent certification preferred - At least 3 years of experience in accounting roles - Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
