Accountant - Work from home

Job Description:

Altia is currently seeking a confident and driven Accountant to join our team in a part-time remote position based in Turku, Varsinais Suomi, Finland. As an Associate Level Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing financial reports, analyzing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis. 2. Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management. 3. Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. 4. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies. 5. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. 6. Maintain compliance with local tax regulations. 7. Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes. 8. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. 9. Provide support for audits and financial reviews.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field. 3. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite. 4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 6. Creativity in approaching financial challenges. 7. Ability to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders. 8. Experience in people management is a plus.
