Accounts Payable - Work from home

Job Description:

Ponsse, a leading forest machine company, is seeking a Part-time Accounts Payable professional to join our team on a work-from-home basis in Tampere, Pirkanmaa, Finland. As an Associate level Accounts Payable specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial obligations, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities: - Process incoming invoices, statements, and payments in a timely and accurate manner - Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting - Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions - Communicate effectively with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues or inquiries - Assist with other accounting duties as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable or similar role - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software - Adaptable and able to quickly adjust to changing priorities - Passionate about financial processes and eager to learn and grow in the field - Strong research skills and ability to find solutions to complex problems - Leadership skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members
